A Ministry of Truth and Light
As one who has been actively enjoying the ministry of Witness Lee for over 25 years (since I was 12 years old), I can testify that this ministry has helped me to understand the Bible and to enjoy and experience Christ. Regardless of the book or chapter in the Bible, this ministry unlocks each portion of the Word, from Genesis to Revelation, and shows how it fits into the big picture of God's eternal purpose. As a result, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental truths in the Bible concerning the Triune God, the person and work of Christ, God's eternal purpose, and the way God takes to reach His ultimate goal.
The truths in the Bible, however, are not delivered as knowledge of dead letters. This ministry of the Spirit conveys the truths in the way of life that leads readers to a deeper experience and enjoyment of Christ. I can testify that under this ministry, I am not drawn to man's eloquence or man's knowledge of the scriptures, but I am drawn to appreciate and love the Lord Jesus more and more. This ministry nourishes me with spiritual food so that I can grow and mature in the divine life. It also affects my daily experience of Christ by motivating me to read the Bible more and stirs up my aspiration to live Christ by walking according to the spirit. Moreover, this ministry encourages me to meet with other believers and continues to train me to serve the Lord Jesus Christ for the building up of His Body. Truly, I owe most of my spiritual progress in the Lord to this ministry!
